Some days are more productive for bird photography than others. We have spent a long time trying to capture sharp photos of birds in moving water. The plan was to get a shot of birds in moving water with a silky and dreamy effect. The original goal of this video was just to go out there with the cameras and long lenses and make a video about whatever happens. As often we start with no plan. The only plan is to relax, enjoy nature and bird photography – and possibly create art while we are at it.

We describe the method in the video above. It is based on using the self-timer and exposure delay to minimize shake when the images are taken.
